Community Relations Page

Camelback Moving, Inc. has recently made an effort to give back to the local community through in-kind services of moving, storing, donating household items, and providing labor at charitable events. Over the last year, we have assisted the following charities with their niche needs that they would otherwise have to pay through their organizations’ funds. We are honored to be a part of this very “giving” community in the Valley. Please call our office if your charity has a need that may fit with our services or feel free to contact any of our charity partners, if you would like to donate directly to their cause.

Thank you!

"Having a way to pick up donations is critical in the non-profit world. And, it is also one of our greatest challenges. The entire staff at Camelback Moving has been outstanding to work with and have made donation collection a seamless process for us. They understand the complexities of non-profits and how we need flexibility to coordinate with our donors’ schedules. It is a pleasure to send out professional and friendly movers to represent us. They have made such a significant contribution to our organization through their manpower and compassion for serving families in need. They are not only the face of Camelback Moving, they are the face of Homeward Bound."   -Vicki Pina, Holiday Projects Manager

CHARITY: Homeward Bound is Phoenix’s largest provider of transitional housing and comprehensive social services for families with children fleeing domestic violence and/or homelessness. Through a combination of housing, supportive counseling, education, childcare and budgeting, clients are able to move toward self-sufficiency.

"I'd used Camelback Moving for several personal and business moves when I contacted them about helping move a large piece of furniture for an auction at our annual fundraising gala. As always, they were easy and pleasant to work with and as long as I live in the Valley, I can't imagine, why I or anyone else would want to use any other moving company."    -Nicholas Ray, Executive Director

CHARITY: Equality Arizona is working to organize the movement for equality, educate voters, and influence policymakers. We continue to advocate for safe schools legislation and policies protecting students from anti-LGBT bullying, inclusive nondiscrimination and hate crimes protections statewide, and equal legal recognition of gay and lesbian couples, among other issues.

animal guardian network

We were recently faced with moving our entire pet food bank with very short notice. We called several companies but it was only Camelback Moving that graciously agreed to help. By hand they loaded 30,000 lbs. of pet food into their truck, transported it to our new location, unloaded and neatly re-stacked all 30,000 lbs.

"Hundreds of pet families rely on our Pet Food Relief Bank each and every month. Thanks to Camelback Moving for not letting the Animal Guardian Network down. We are happy to report that no pet had to go without food. Thank you so much for your immeasurable generosity."    -Carrie Singer, President/Founder

CHARITY: The purpose of these programs is to provide the assistance essential to keeping pets in their loving homes thereby helping to reduce the number of pets euthanized every day in the county shelters. Being financially disadvantaged is not synonymous with an inability to provide a loving home. It is just an opportunity for us to make a difference in the life of an animal and their guardian by lending a helping hand.
